Hi
Can someone help me troubleshoot my DMX to USB adapter please.
Its RPM's USb to DMX adapter.
I must have a bad solder or something somewhere as I have no green led blinking when I plug it in.
I have setup the driver correctly and confirmed windows settings.
Thanks
Steve

Does the device register as a com port? Do you hear the Windows sound that it was plugged in? Just want to confirm it's just not the LED in backwards or something...

It does register as a com port and I dont hear a windows sound when I plug it in but if I have device manager open at the time I can see com port 5 appear and also usb to serial converter appears in the usb section of device manager also.
I think it is a solder issue because I have opened a sequence and used the test function to enable all channels and nothing comes on so it may be more than the led backwards.

Now I seem to have a vixen issue.
I receive the error "Plugin error
(Router)
An output plugin caused the following error
(Router - plugins)
An output plugin caused the following exception
Source array was not long enough, Check srcIndex, and length and the array's lower bounds
Execution has been stopped."
I am using one of AussiePhils 48 channel DC boards and the DMX in light is rapidly flashing indicating it is receiving a DMX signal. The USB to DMX adapter led is flashing now. So has anyone seen this issue before?

Which version of Vixen are you using. I seem to recall issues when stopping/starting sequences... Before you start, be sure there are no phantom Vixen's running by killing them in Task Manager. Unplug the dongle, plug it in, make sure it registers ok, then start Vixen and try a simple sequence.

Working perfectly thanks. I unplugged, restarted, started vixen, plugged in and then opened a sequence and its working perfectly.
Thankyou for your help
