I don't know about you all, but I am having a blast right now. So far I built a new web shooter, added a another Scary Terry talking skull so I can have 2 skulls craking wise to each other, a pnuematic pop up spider that spits water, and will be building at least one monster mud reaper this weekend.
I am also full-on crazy about EFX-Tek prop controllers. I ordered the EZ-8 and that thing rocks. Being able to program from Vixen is really cool.
Hooked into the EZ-8 is a Scary Terry audio board. And it is all triggered with a paralax motion sensor. This will be the primary controller set up for the spider. I have other plans for the EZ-8 as well. I have some canon that I need to fire for another project that the EZ-8 will make short work of.
Carl at Cowalicious rocks! And the forums at EFX-Tek made short work of a couple stumbles I had.
This is my first year with animatronics. I think I will definately have to add at least single axis to the skulls for next year. But I don't want bite off too much and not get done for this year.
