*** RGB Pixels Available for Immediate Delivery ***
If you missed out on the October co-op order and are still interested in these pixels, you're in luck!
I have pixels available for immediate shipment. They've been discussed elsewhere in this forum (especially in the DMX section). Current quantity available is listed at the bottom of this posting.
If you missed the beginning of the chatting, it's posted here:

You get fabricated, assembled, programmed and tested for $9.70 each.
That's a fairly firm number regardless of quantity.
To make these bad boys run, you provide stable DMX and a stiff +12v power supply. Or, write your own firmware and use whatever serial communications method you find convenient. There's a programming port included on each PCB for your hacking pleasure.
You also provide CAT5 cable to jump between pixels. Google for many, many sources.
About half of these pixels are based on the schematic posted here:
http://www.christmasinshirley.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=671
The RS-485 receiver has some jumper pads installed which allow the pixels to optionally transmit data back to the host. The intention was to allow RDM-style communication with an intelligent lighting board. The firmware I've written does NOT use this function. So the jumpers are basically redundant.
The other half of are based on the same schematic, but the jumper pads 'A, B, C & D' have been omitted. They are set up to receive only.
If you have a preference, I'll do my best to accommodate you.
In any case, *all* of these pixels will do a fantastic job of receiving DMX or your choice of homebrew communication protocol.
The current firmware has the DMX address hard coded. I'll program and test each pixel based on the address range you provide. Default will be 1, 4, 7, etc. However, if you'd like a different range, that's fine too.
Shipments will be packed in antistatic bags, etc, to ensure a safe delivery.
Price:
• $9.70 per pixel
• $9.00 for USPS priority mail or UPS ground shipping + tracking number, per order.
• $24.00 for Global priority mail shipping + tracking number, per order.
• No charge for shipping if you send me your FedEx / UPS account number.
* Faster shipping available as well, send a PM for pricing
