This showed up for me with beta 4.
About 1 second before the sweep passes a specific time mark the number will twitch.

Does it for all times I just had to do a tight focus to try to capture it.

Not high priority just mentioning it.

Replaced the video. I think this one shows it a little clearer.

Watch about 4 seconds in front of the scan line.
As soon as it starts you can see the "twitch in 18 and then follow it to the right.
Just rebooted and vixen got updates and the "tick" is still there.

This is a new sequence for testing my pixels, only one minute long and only 3 channels, not even any audio assigned.

Tried my other more complex sequences and the issue is there also.

I honestly believe you, I really do, I just don't see it!

just checked mine, and nothing... but i am 100% up to date as of this post, also not running high channel count nor a big plugin, just the 12 channel parallel

Edited first post with better video.
"Tick" precedes scan line by about 4 seconds.
I try to keep the "tick" in the center of the frame so just look there.

I see tghe tick in your video. I also see the right half of the time number seems to disappear slightly after the bar passes it. Maybe it is an anomaly of the video compression process, idk.

Hey, I see it now. It's got a little wiggle to it, like all of the hash marks are getting fidgety from standing around too long.

Do the numbers actually get a bit wiped out like Brian noticed, or is that just the video? And is it only during a complex sequence? If so, can you pass one on so I can try to reproduce it?

Yes it appears that 3/4 to all of the second digit sometimes does not get redrawn after the sweep passes.

This is a new sequence for testing my pixels, only one minute long and only 3 channels, not even any audio assigned.

Tried my other more complex sequences and the issue is there also.
This only showed up when I went to beta 4

I just found that if you highlight an area of cells, the problem becomes very easy to see

I cant either. if i have collum zoom to %10 the red guide line drags behing the real one. It flickers on and off. Thats it.

Try it with just the Olsen 595 plugin. It doesn't do it for me when I have the adjustable preview, but when I changed it to the 595, it happened on a different computer than before.
I have column at 20% and row at 70%. I have a 10 second sequence w/ 64 channels. If I highlight a portion of the channels for the sequence, and start the sequence it immediatetly unhighlights the last row and for every period the sequence processes it unhighlights 2. When the sequence is half done, the entire sequence is unhighlighted. I believe this is the same twitch that was reported before. If needed I can also upload a video tomorrow.
As far as I can tell there isn't any impact from this, just an oddity.

Finally! A sequence that produces it! It's not as drastic as Joel's video, but there is a bit of a dance. Thanks, Don.

I will confirm that Vixen is now a polished professional.

He stands tall, confident, and rock solid.

The nervous twitch has been banished and is no more.
