It's long 14 mins and the Robo lights & Ledtriks(s) are not setup yet (this morning I hope) but I Figured last nights midnight test might be the last chance to get a video with out cars and people in the way. The camera is my little digital camera playing video recorder so not the bext quality and you can't see the whole yard as the sides are cut off. but you can see most of it. the bright lites you can see but can't tell what it is in the voiced songs is "Jennie" our singing head. So here it is :

Love the arches! How many channels are devoted to each arch?

Thanks!

I think I can do a lot better next year now that I have a grip on seqencing better.

14 channels each. Pretty well a whole grinch to the arches. 100 lights each channel. So it lays out like this :

1 grinch bushes, singing lady, eves, mini's, bells. reindeer, etc.
1 grinch Arches and nativity scene.
4 Lynx's Mega Tree, Presents, etc.

Next year all Lynx's so it's all dimming.

I'm running 216 channels on one DMX stream including the robo's which I setup today. running 25ms to allow the twinkling at the end of the show on the mega tree.

I am very happy everything is working well. The official lanch is tonight at 7 pm so wish me luck.

I'm running 216 channels on one DMX stream.

Open DMX or Pro DMX Dongle or ? . . .

I'm still trying to get my DMX up and running.

Those jumping arches take the cake... absolutely brilliant. I like the way that you don't give too much away to start off with, and the lighting gets more and more advanced as the show goes on - it keeps you watching! Good work. I'll be taking notes from this for my own display :)

Thanks RJ, you just made it more difficult for me next year!!! It was a lock I was going to do mini-trees to enhance my show next year - now after seeing those arches, I have to decide between mini-trees or arches. You just made my life complicated.

Although I guess I could just do both!!!!!

Those arches are great.

Thanks,

It is a pro dongle the refresh speed is much faster on the pro with vixen than the open. Plus the timing never misses even with 512 channels going during my tests.

Yes the show was done that way intentionaly you picked up on it. I wanted to keep stuff back and bring more and more to keep them wanting and waiting.

If you like the arches in the video you should see them other than on the low res video. They look like fireballs shooting across.

It's not picked up that great by the camera. it's used in a number of places but just a little. Look at 12:22 - 12:28 just left of center. you see it better in person than on the vid. I need to come up with better routines for it I ran out of time. I also think a white background would be good to really make it show up.

I took this just for those that wanted to see robo. I video from a bad spot to see it. This short video shows it much better.
