Daisy Chain Ren-C

I have posted in 2 forums hoping to get some help.

I have 2 Ren-C boards and I am taking the RS out from Ren-C one and connecting it to the RS in on REN-C two, but it does not work. I took the 2nd board out and did some testing and it works fine. Do I need a special connection between the 2 boards? How long can the run be? It is only 3 feet.

Help if anybody can.

I have three Ren-c boards each separated by 50 feet or more. What are the status LEDS showing? Do you have power to both boards and ZC?
