I don't know what to call this... the little grey box on the time bar that tells you where your cursor is... could that extend down further into the time scale? When using a low column zoom it can be hard to see exactly which time chunk my cursor is in. Here's two ideas of what I mean:

Maybe extend that line down the entire grid, top to bottom. Like in AL and LOR.
There should already be a line that extends the length of the grid, that was added a few updates ago.
And the gray box...you actually see a gray box? It should be a red line that touches the hash marks of the time scale.

I think they are talking about editing, not playing.
A vertical and horizontal cross hair would be ideal but I think you would also need to be able to turn it off so it did not become too much of a distraction.
I use this at times

Would cut down on the annoyance factor if it was only active while the mouse was over the sequencing grid.

Right... this is during editing, not playback.
Okay, that makes a lot more sense now, thank you.

How about the option of cross hairs and on the bottoms title bar have displayed the channel name and the time spot just like a cad program where it show x and y...
Just when I zoom out it is hard to read and see the grid... Thanks..
Great program though

I am really liking the cross hair idea! The x and y coordinates are a good idea too.
