I think I mentioned something like this a few months ago, but I would like to see more participation from those attending.
My first idea was for everyone to make a power point presentation highlighting some of the more interesting parts of their display or what they are working on. Then it occurred to me, not everyone has a laptop to present their PPT with.
Then I thought about a kids science fair, where all the kids make some kind of display showing their projects.
It wouldn't have to be elaborate, just something simple to share.
scrapbook
photo book
show and tell items, like a controller or mini-tree
FM transmitters
notebooks. Some of you are really good at organizing notes.
I was actually thinking about putting together one of those poster boards with some photos and a small presentation that runs on my laptop.
We all have different interests and different areas of expertise. I thought this could be a way to share some knowledge with each other. It would also make the convention more inviting to those just getting started.
Wayne James provided us with a neat presentation and a lot of show and tell stuff last year. I hope he can join us for a few hours this year. He has a lot of knowledge to share.
