Use Adjustable Preview picture with several songs.

Help. I have built my first sequence, and now I am ready to move on to my next song, but I can not figure out how to use the adjustable sequence map I built for the first song with my second song.

Do I get to redraw everytinhg again?

close all your sequences

go into Tools - Copy Data

Select the From & To sequences

Look in the box to the right, select Plugin Data & Adjustable Preview

That will copy your completed Preview into the new sequence.

Isn't that what profiles are for? Define all that stuff once, then use the same profile for each song. Then when you set things up and channels aren't in the intended order, you just change one location (the profile) and everything works. Like magic. I hope. 'cuz if not, I'm in trouble!!!

Thats only if you use the Profiles feature.

True - profiles is one of the few advanced features I have managed to get my head around in the midst of my "cramming" to get things done.

Andy - If you want to try it, open your "good" sequence, then select Profiles --> Create profile from sequence. Under name, select "change" (or it will ask you for one when you try to exit). Next time you're ready to create a sequence, the third screen will be for Profile - select the one you just created in the drop-down. The new sequence will have all the channel names, colors, preview layout, plug-ins, channel order, etc. Just remember - once you do this, you no longer change this type of information in the sequence. You'll have to do it in the Profile Manager.
