I found a cheap source for cords:
http://www.lwws.com/shop/amp-indoor-extension-cord-gauge-p-93.html?osCsid=c8dec261b6532687354836b91c77e633

Even with shipping they are reall cheap.

Have you purchased any of these cords? I see they are on sale and was thinkning about getting 50 of them. What is the quality like? Are they same quality as you'd buy in the local store?

Thanks, Mike

These look like the cords that I bought from my local dollar store. I bought about 50 of them and I had to replace 1 yesterday. So far, so good. I have them laying across the ground so they are covered in ice and snow. I plan on buying more over the summer to use for next year.

They are working fine. Exactly as shown. Use them outdoors. I run 3 100 light minis at most per cord which is about 1 amp so there is no problem at all.

Honestly ... not all that great of a deal after you add in shipping costs ( but , I guess that depends on where you are located - mine - 16,09 , which totals over $60.00 for a box , when you can get them at Norbys Farm Fleet for the same price ( well , a few pennies more )

I think you can do better. Bought 6 foots yesterday from a home improvement store yesterday for $0.50 each. Paid tax but no shipping. Keep looking.

An online store? If so, which?

On a related note, Target had 6' green indoor extension cords in their christmas section - I think a little less than 1.50 after the 50% off.

They were 75% off today, $0.89 for a three pack. They had 26 packs, HAD before I got there. :)
