View Full Version : Building my firework

I am still waiting for my brother in law to get me back my firework. He is welding all the leads and stuff for me. I was wondering I will have 12 rods on the firework. I have to see what fits better 50 or 25 ct minis. I am though going to have a light on the tips of the rod. So my question would be should I use c-7, c-9 or strobes for my tip. The only thing bad with the strobes is I dont think you can dim those? What would you all use for the tips.

I think C7 or C9 would work best. More options to change the color of each tip. you could use couple of strobe in the center of your firework as different burt affect.

I am going to use Red Minis in the center with 2 Strobelight mixed in.

Thats the fun part about this projects, its what your creation and imagination what makes it special.

Have fun

Like to see what you final project turn out like.

What ever size you have available, or can get.

I started with C9 retros on the tips because they could be dimmed.
They just do not look bright enough.
So my plan is to go with incandescent strobes for now.

The ones I got from CDI are C9.
I think the internal circuitry is identical in both C7 and C9 sizes.
The only difference is the socket.

Another question on this, do you think a portable basketball base and pole would be strong enough to hold a steel firework frame. Mine is close to Jrock64s not as many leads I only have 12.
