With the impending release of LSP1.7 (any day now) David from LSP has put out a video for those sequencing non RGB displays in LSP 1.7. If you were on the side line before because you thought you couldn't take advantage of the great features of LSP 1.7 because you don't have RGB, then this video should change your mind.

yes your correct its not free it costs $89.00 but it will save you that money in the amount of time it will save you sequencing. (depending on what value you put on your time)

realy is it that good ?? anyone try it yet ?? because if it is going to save me time then 89$ is pretty cheap will it work with renard s24 and 64 ? because i got those 2 comming
thanks

LSP will talk to Renard, DMX, LOR, AL, D-Light, and other controllers using their native protocols. Of course you may need additional dongles to be able to talk to each type of "network" and protocol but it is possible.

Last season, I used LSP to talk to my AL controllers (19), and several DMX controllers (4 Lynx Express). This year, I'm adding some Ren24LVs, Ren48LSDs, and some of RPM's DMX8 DCSSR controllers. Hopefully all the Renards will be running DMX firmware, but it that doesn't work, I'll just revert to using Renard protocol for some of them...

Dowload the Demo in the next couple of days when V1.7 is released or take a look at the videos, compared to vixen or LOR2 (my experiences) LSP is on another level and will definetly save you time sequencing while at the same time allowing you to be more creative than you could have ever thought. I have been beta testing LSP 1.7 for the last couple of weeks and now i couldnt even consider using anything else or it would feel like going back to the dark ages

Does LSP work with Triks panels?

Does LSP work with Triks panels?

To my knowledge (i may be wrong here) there is no native support for the LED triks panel in LSP. What can be done is to load a script/program at sections within the sequence that will then allow the Triks panel to run.
A very good question though Matt, one i should ask David from LSP to clarify or look at adding support as the matrix tools in 1.7 would definetly make sequencing the LED triks a lot easier

If you're talking with a Triks-C - then yes - it supports batch files so it works just like Vixen does (indirectly via LTC). If you're talking via parallel port - probably not...

I build a LEDTRIKS last year and controlled it with LSP. Started batch files that sent then name of the song playing in LSP to the LEDTIKS. You must still use VIXEN to create the LEDTRICKS sequence and existing DOS program to actually send the commands. There is no direct support for the LEDTRIKS in LSP.
