Does anyone have a copy of winring0.dll,.sys and .vxd available?

Not on this windows XP computer, why? Is it for a specific program?

A quick web search shows that it is a dll used to give actual hardware access (sort of like GiveIO). For whatever reason, Microsoft makes this harder with each version of the OS...
I found some info at http://openlibsys.org/manual/WhatIsWinRing0.html, and by reading the butchered translation that Google Translate did of the Japanese page, it looks like the developer was pressured into getting rid of it; something about a certificate being revoked.
It looks like there are some versions out there on some warez sites, but you know the risk of dealing with them.
I just found a copy (that's likely a safe one) bundled in with a program called RealTemp.
You can download the zip at http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1691/Real_Temp_3.40.html and copy the WinRing0 files out of the zip file.
