REN-C Sequencing

Quick question. I am using 2 595's with Ren-C so I am using a Renard dimmer pluggin. I am going to have 128 channels. Do I assign all 128 channels to the 1 Renard dimmer pluggin?

Yes, assign all channels to one plugin.

The plug in is what attaches the activity within vixen to an external device via some port. If you only have one RenC hooked to one Serial port you only need one plugin. You can not connect more then one plugin to the same port.

The Renard-595 converter is designed for exclusive use with the 64-channel 595-style controller
so to do 128 channels you need 2 Ren-C boards. one connected to each 64 channel 595 board. Both Ren-C boards can be connected daisy chain to one serial port with a Ren-T interface an you need only 1 Renard plug-in.
