Ive assembled my RENs and all work individually, but when I connect more than one the second doesn't do anything.

I connect My first Ren to the PC, and it works.
Using a store-bought Cat-5 cable, I connect the second, getting the red 5V LED.
Do I still use the same settings in Vixen, just telling it that Renard control;s 32 channels? This is what I have done, but only the first card controls.

Thanks

Have you tried plugging the 2nd card directly to the PC to make sure that it is working?

Did you remember to go into your plugins and edit your "Renard dimmer" plugin to use 1-32, rather than 1-16? (Same with adjustable preview, if you use that)

Yes to both questions.
All cards work plugeed in first.

none work second.
and I have 1-32 for the plugin settings.

Can you take a high resolution picture of your board?
and another picture of the top right corner (output RJ45 jack)?

Do you have a cat5 cable tester? Can you borrow one if you don't?
Might just be the chunk of cat5 you are using.....

I'll send you a pic in the AM when I get my camera back.

I'll also try with a home made cable .
They always work better.

Just off-the-cuff, could it be a cross-over cable that you purchased?
(A cable tester would tell you pretty fast)
