Hi All,

We would appreciate your prayers over the next few days for Ruth, My wife, who is to have a double hip replacement tomorrow, Wednesday the 17th March, at fairly short notice.

She has become almost immobile and in considerable pain for the last few months and has been "Hanging on" for the opportunity to have the hips replaced. This has been made possible at very short notice, so we now pray for a successfull conclusion to this agony.

Please pray for God's guidence for the Surgeons, the Hospital staff, and for Ruth herself, as she undergoes this major proceedure. That she will rapidly recover, be back to enjoying life again, and able to assist with the "Blinky Flashy" for Christmas 2010, as well as our normal Church Committments :-)

Prayers are coming your way from Minnesota that your wife's surgery goes well and that the pain goes away.

Many thanks Guy's, At this stage all appears well, the operation went "as planned". My wife has returned to "this world" again, and after a few hours of recovery is fine. Now the "Difficult" part of the proceedure commences, learning to walk again. The Lord answers Prayers, as always, brilliant. :-) Terry.

God Bless

Thots have been on the way for your wife. I'm sure with a double replacement, it will be a little longer, but they'll have her up and walking soon.

My wife's dad (76) fell off a short stepladder, and insisted it was only a bruise for almost 2 weeks. Finally he went in and had it looked at - he had broken the leg just below the hip ball, so got a half a new hip. He was back up and walking the day after surgery.

We really appreciate the Prayers of you folk. So far the news is good, a couple of hopefully minor issues with low BP and Red cell count which a litre of blood should fix. She was up on her feet for the first time tonight with minimal pain, greatly relieved and pleased. Maybe a few more steps tomorrow to start things off :-)

Hi all,

Brilliant news, My wife Ruth has returned home today, a bit fragile but in extremely good spirits. Now the slow return to "Normality" commences.

Many thanks for your prayer support over the last few days, we are sure that this has had a big part in her rapid recovery, home on the eighth day after the operation, and able to walk, albeit with her elbow crutches!!

Please continue to remember her in your prayers, that there are no unforseen complications, while everything completely heals.

Praise the Lord,

Terry
