Hi all,
Since I am not an electronics expert, I just wanted to make sure the parts i picked up are suitable for the Ren-T. I took the specs off of mouser and went to the local electronics store to have them pick up a suitable replacements.

First is the transformer. Mouser is on backorder. The one he gave me is a 12.6v 1Amp. Apparenty the one specified is a 300mA. he says he doesn't have one that low, but this should do just fine. It is center tapped.

Second the capictor. It is in his own stores packaging. On the label is written NEV470M25EE, I am pretty sure it is a 2 and not a Z, but it's handwritten, so I could be wrong. He said it would work just fine. It's for the mouser part number 140-XRL16V470-RC. I apparently forgot to order it.

Third is the LED. Apparently the mouser sheet I gave him wasn't very specific. The LED specified is mouser part number 604-WP710GT or 604-WP7104IT, one apparently being Red and the other being Green. The specifics on the one he gave me are T-1 Size, 1.7VDC @ 20ma.

So are these going to work for me then?
Thanks in advance!

All of those parts should be fine. Maybe overkill, depending on what you are using the Ren-T for, but they should work.

As long at it will work, i don't care if it's overkill, lol.

But I did forget, the Capacitor has a black stripe on the side with 0 in it instead of + or -. So does that designate it as the pos or neg side?
