Renard24 firmware choices

I have not found much difference in the function of regular minis with either of the versions. I will not be running LEDs this year. Is there any drawback to using the PWM version if not running LEDs?

Your power consumption will be higher (power consumption of the DC supply, not the AC for lights) so it may affect how you feed DC to the board(s).

The Renard section in the wiki gives some estimates of power usage with and without PWM.

I guess since this board has it's own transformer on-board the issue isn't really an issue?

You're right, non-issue for Renard24. It is an issue for all of the other coop Renard boards.
