Hi:
I'm afraid the shipping to Arizona might be somewhat prohibitive.

Matt

About 3 times longer than i actually need for 2010, but oh so tempting................

Think of the cost to string them with LED's in Oz!!!!!

Probably a little long on one end for my first tree build for 2010.

BTW, what minimum height would a Mega Tree be classed as?? Mine might have to be a Midi tree due to poor positioning of all my essential services - Internet and Cable TV, oh, and the electricity.

I'm thinking 3 metres tall for my Midi, that way it wouldn't be taller than the cable height just in case the unthinkable was to happen!

This year mine was a basket ball base and pole which was 3 m high, i then added an extra 1m of pvc pipe to the top to give me 4m (3.8m actually due to the overlap of the pipes). Next year im planning to take it up to 5m.
We have underground cables in our area so height isnt a problem.

My mega tree pole can go to 22 meter's high :)

I did this year at 15 1/2 meters, and I'll "hopefully" be at 19 meters next year with all LED's.

Frank, what do you suppose that weighs with all the lights? And do you interconnect those long strands horizontally at a few places to keep them from blowing too much or tangling?

I dont know about Frank's method but I use 3/16 cable and zip tie my led strands to them. It does not add enough weight to adversly affect my setup. But my center pole is only 30 feet.
