This will be my last year animating a light show, so I have the 16 channel starter package for sale, minus the networking cable. It is the LOR1602W controller, the USB adapter and the software. This is the $377 package new, I am selling it for $250, including shipping, payment via paypal. It is 2 years old and the hardware has worked fine the past two years.
if you are interested, email me at gjbankos@psualum.com

Sorry to hear that your not doing your show anymore, most people around here could get 48 channels for that price, if not more, including all of the other hardware and software. I hope you have luck selling your equipment Merry Christmas

The 1602W units are like tanks - I'm pretty sure he will not have any problem selling them - in fact I will probably be selling my two after the season to get more other stuff!

Not being a LOR person , can you explain yourself a little better .....

Is there some kind of major component difference , or is this thing armor plated ?
what exactly justifies it as being "like a tank" I wonder ?

Well, the case the Showtime controllers come in is a really heavy gauge metal. The heat sink is integrated into the controller like Frank's Ren24. It's mounted to back of the case, and then there's a metal face plate over it that has fuse holders and a power switch. Close the cover... and it's pretty much a tank. I have 16 LOR controllers. 3 are in LOR plastic cases, and the rest are in "YourBroadBandStore" Keptel 9 x 13 cases. The showtime controllers are great for a business or commercial applications and some people feel the need to have a heavy case locked to a tree to prevent vandalism/theft etc... Showtime boxes are probably a deterrent to thieves. Who'd wanna carry all that weight?

If you haven't already sold the unit, you can try the LOR forum and/or Planet Christmas.

No, I've been evicted as that area is becoming living space.
