I'm already ahead of schedule I was happy enough with this year I'm running the same show next year. Just replacing that awful inflatable tree with a proper mega tree, and maybe some arches, of course the mega tree will need some sort of topper. Going to try home etching boards boards for next year. Oh, man on second thought I am way behind.

Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Merry Christmas to all of you here.

(and apologies.. I didn't get my cards made up and sent. Something had to give, and given my last minute escapades trying to get things ready for the kids, I'm afraid the the card exchange fell to the bottom of the list. They *WILL* ship eventually! )

I hope your Christmas day has been full of cheer, family, love, and plenty of "Rock Band".

Tyler - boards should be on their way Monday - won't get a chance to tomorrow. Some goof blasted the stop sign, on Hwy 52, and I t-boned him at 60 mph...totalled my Jeep Liberty, and his Honda. All are ok, except he has what's probably a bad concussion.

As close as you are, if you don't have welding stuff, you'll have to make a trip down here - ukewarrior (David Jones) and I are going to have a get-together sometime, to do some welding, making props, stars, and wireframes. I made a 5 foot tall 8-sides star, that "rotates", and is suspended out over the yard, pretty cool, everyone who comments on the show, says that's the highlight. I also made him a wireframe sign that said "Believe", with a stocking cap hanging from it. Maybe he'll post a picture of it - he still had lights to put on it. Maybe we can make it regular seminar, sometime this spring...

Roger-
Sorry to hear about your accident. Glad to hear your OK. Wal-mart opens in 10 min, so I,m off to try to get some lights(my wife works there and says they still have some left). I do have access to a welder but would love to come down and pick up some tips.
Tyler

edit:
I'm back from wal-mart. I managed to get enough lights for a 2 color green/red mega tree. no white left for arches, so I guess I'll see how many controllers I can build then decide if arches will make it into the 2010 show or wait till 2011. If all I add this year is a mega tree, dimming, and more songs I will be happy with that. I think for now i would like to keep it smallish anyway, less worries about total amp draw, traffic, and all the headaches that go with a big show. At the end of the day I still have the coolest lights on the block!!

ROGER! I'm so glad you're okay! Hope the other fellow comes out of it alright, too.

Hey Roger - - glad to hear you're OK!!! I had a similar accident a couple years back - was taking all 3 kids to school (first day of school yet!) and somebody pulled out in front of me - totalled my car - air bags, etc but thankfully no one was hurt too bad.

Anyway - Happy Holidays to everyone - Santa was very good to me this year - no coal!
