Over the past few days we have done some behind the scenes work and upgraded our bulletin board software. Some of the reasons for this upgrade is to enhance your online experience, additional member tools and administrative upgrades. Below is a small list of some of the newest and exciting features that you, the membership will see the most. I have also included a small explanation about each addition. 1. User created Social groups - To further social cohesion between users and to encourage people to make friends, vBulletin now includes a facility to allow users to create their own social/interest groups. These groups are enhanced by having their own public messaging system, and the ability to add pictures to the group from user albums. 2. Reciprocal friendships between users - As part of our new social networking system, users can now request that people on their buddy list confirm their friendship, after which time a person's list of confirmed friends will be viewable to other users. 3. User picture galleries - vBulletin users can now create albums and upload pictures to their account. |

You may be asking yourself what is going on here? Am I in the right place? The answer is yes, you are in the right place. Some of the links are not relevant to us and are just some example content. If the link name does not make sense then it is probably not relevant. I am working on things and everything will get cleaned up and streamlined as I get ideas and articles from the community members. DIYC is evolving more and more everyday. The new front page and area you are vising right now is designed to help make DIYC more than a bulletin board. |
